About the Role

The Video Editor Intern role at TheDarkStore is a remote internship focused on supporting the brand’s digital storytelling and social media presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit video content for social platforms, campaigns, and brand stories, including cutting, organizing, and refining footage to match creative briefs.
• Assist with basic motion graphics and color grading.
• Add music and sound effects.
• Collaborate with the creative team to maintain a consistent visual style.
• Prepare video assets in required formats.
• Manage file organization.
• Contribute ideas for engaging visual content that aligns with the brand’s aesthetic and sustainability-driven message.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Skills in Video Production and Video Editing for creating and refining high-quality visual content.
• Skills in Video Color Grading to enhance visual consistency and mood across projects.
• Skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to design simple animations, titles, and visual elements.
• Familiarity with video editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve) and basic graphic tools (such as After Effects or Canva) is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Time management skills.
• Ability to follow creative direction in a remote environment.
• Interest in fashion, pop culture, and sustainable, community-driven brands is a plus.
• Current students or recent graduates in media, design, film, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
