About the Role
- Assist with day-to-day IT operations in a full-time remote role.
- Participate in troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
- Update knowledge bases and support the deployment and configuration of tools or applications.
- Collaborate with senior team members on small projects.
- Learn best practices in IT service delivery and follow established procedures and security guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Help monitor systems and networks.
- Document issues and resolutions.
- Provide basic technical support under supervision.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Foundational knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and basic networking concepts.
- Ability to learn and use remote support tools, ticketing systems, and standard office software.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team.
- Interest in managed services, IT support, or systems administration.
- Ability to manage time, follow instructions, and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Willingness to adhere to security and privacy standards.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree, diploma, or certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Prior coursework or personal projects are beneficial.
