About the Role
The Business Operations Analyst at Wert Group will clean system exports, spreadsheets, and scanned reports, build Excel models, and turn results into slides for project teams. This is a full-time, remote position from anywhere in the United States. You will work with consultants and project leads across several engagements and see your analysis used in client decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and clean operational and financial data from client systems
- Build Excel models for costs, capacity, pricing, and process performance
- Benchmark clients against peers using public filings and industry data
- Analyze processes and quantify where time and money are lost
- Prepare charts and slides for steering committee meetings
- Track project milestones, risks, and open actions
- Write short summaries of findings for partners and clients
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Excel (including pivot tables and XLOOKUP or VLOOKUP)
- Some experience analyzing data, from a job, an internship, or coursework
- PowerPoint or Google Slides
A Plus
- SQL, Power BI, or Tableau
- An internship in consulting, finance, or operations
- Experience with financial statements or cost data
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related field
