Investment Banking Intern

About the Role

The Investment Banking Intern role at GHC Growth Lab is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi. The intern will support deal execution and advisory projects by assisting with financial modeling, valuation analysis, and investment research on startups across sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze financial and market data.
• Prepare pitch books and investor presentations.
• Contribute to due diligence activities.
• Collaborate with senior team members on transaction documentation.
• Maintain internal databases and reports.
• Participate in client meetings and internal discussions as needed.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with financial databases or research tools is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret financial statements and evaluate business models.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques for early-stage and growth-stage companies.
• Foundational knowledge of finance and investments, including capital markets and corporate finance concepts.
• Experience or coursework related to due diligence, risk assessment, and company or industry research.
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information concisely.
• Detail-oriented mindset, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced startup advisory environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Kochi and manage multiple tasks and deadlines responsibly.
