Cafe Partnerships Associate, Food and Beverage

About the Role

Blendonomics is seeking a Cafe Partnerships Associate to join their team in Pune. This role involves growing the company's presence by onboarding new cafes and strengthening the distributor network within the city. The position is not a traditional sales role; it focuses on building relationships and understanding the needs of cafes.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit cafes across Pune, including those who have requested product trials and identifying new prospects.
• Conduct product tastings and provide clear, honest explanations of the offerings.
• Understand cafe menus, owner concerns, and specific needs.
• Log daily visits and submit weekly field reports.
• Follow up with cafes to ensure continued orders and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the founder, head office team, and Pune-based distribution partners.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience in or with cafes, restaurants, hotels, catering, food delivery, or food brands. Any role is considered, including barista, floor staff, kitchen, outlet operations, restaurant onboarding, food sales, food content, internships, or part-time work.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Proficiency in Marathi and Hindi.
• Access to a two-wheeler with a valid license.
• Must reside in Pune.
• Availability for full-time work. This role is not suitable for students attending regular day college.

Qualifications

• Direct experience working within the cafe or food and beverage industry is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Enthusiastic about cafes and the coffee industry.
