Event Planning Intern

About the Role

The Event Planning Intern will support the end-to-end coordination of college events, including concerts, festivals, and performances, in a full-time, on-site capacity in Hyderabad. This role offers hands-on experience in event management and an opportunity to learn from professionals in the college entertainment space.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with event planning timelines.
• Support vendor and artist coordination.
• Help with venue logistics and on-ground execution.
• Assist in preparing event proposals, schedules, checklists, and post-event reports.
• Coordinate with college representatives and internal teams to ensure clear communication.
• Maintain project documentation.
• Support marketing and promotion activities.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for event concepts.
• Provide operational support during live events.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad with flexibility for evening or weekend events as needed.
• Comfort using productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, collaboration platforms) to track and communicate event plans.

Qualifications

• Skills in Event Planning and Event Management.
• Strong Communication skills.
• Project Management and Planning skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
• Interest in college events, entertainment, and live performances.
• Prior event volunteering or internship experience is an advantage.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in any discipline; fields such as event management, marketing, or communications are a plus.
