About the Role
GDMS has an immediate opening for an Engineering Intern to join our team in the Manassas, Virginia facility. This position is 100% on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply classroom-learned skills to a program supporting the defense of our country.
- Work on projects that support some of our nation’s fundamental defense services.
- Work with collaborative teams on various technical projects associated with our core mission.

Requirements & Tech Stack
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- MBSE experience is a plus!
- Preferred knowledge of SysML and experience with Cameo or similar.
Qualifications
- Enrollment in an accredited degree program in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline.
- Preference for a standing of a sophomore or higher.
- Clear understanding of engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards.
- Creative thinker with ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity.
- Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others.
