Software Testing Engineer-QC (Manual Testing)

About the Role

This role focuses on manual software testing to ensure application functionality and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand software application functionality and requirements from the Team Lead.
• Prepare test scenarios and test cases based on functional requirements.
• Execute test cases and verify application functionality.
• Identify, document, and report bugs or defects to the development team.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and retesting activities.
• Test web-based and desktop applications in a Windows environment.
• Perform cross-browser testing to ensure application compatibility.
• Maintain test documentation and prepare testing reports.
• Work closely with developers and team members to resolve issues.
• Assist with customer support and provide customer training when required.
• Travel to customer locations if required.
• Be willing to work from the office in Pune and relocate if necessary.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Test web-based and desktop applications
• Windows environment
• Cross-browser testing
• MS Word and MS Excel (basic knowledge is an added advantage)

Qualifications

• Any graduate with completed education.
• Must have completed a Manual Testing course or internship.
• Freshers with basic knowledge of software testing concepts are encouraged to apply.
• Good understanding of STLC, SDLC, test case preparation, test execution, and defect reporting.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Must be staying in Pune and work from the office.
• Willing to travel to customer locations if required.
