About the Role
CJ Walks is an owner-operated pet care business serving Bay Ridge. Seeking a reliable, kind, and outgoing animal lover to take on most home sitting stays, weekend walks, and occasional weekday walks. This is a part-time, supplemental job opportunity.
Schedule
- Intermittent and somewhat passive.
- Petsitting stays are paid by 24 hours, allowing for 2-5 hour stretches away and 6-8 hours total away per day.
- Stays are unpredictable and based on client needs.
- Availability required for holidays and weekends; most stays will be booked in advance.
- Nights will always be spent at the pet's home.
Pay
- Petsitting: $50-$80 per 24-hour period.
- Walks: $13-$18 per half-hour walk.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Previous pet care experience.
- Positive references/verified reviews on pet and/or home sitting work.
- Located in or very nearby Bay Ridge.
- Must be 20+ years old.
Qualifications
- Ideally has hospitality or customer service experience.
- Ideally has a bike/scooter/reliable mode of transportation.
