Internship Details

Role Description
This role involves assisting in designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications and components under the guidance of senior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Writing clean and efficient code.
- Debugging and fixing issues.
- Implementing unit tests.
- Collaborating on software design and architecture discussions.
- Working with databases.
- Integrating APIs and services.
- Participating in code reviews.
- Supporting testing activities to ensure reliability and performance.
- Documenting code.
- Following best practices.
- Learning new tools and frameworks relevant to Ideactra’s technology stack.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Foundational skills in Software Development and Software Design, with a focus on object-oriented principles and Java programming.
- Strong Programming skills in Java.
- Familiarity with related tools or frameworks such as Spring, Maven, or Gradle.
- Basic knowledge of Databases, including SQL, schema design, and integrating data access within applications.
- Skills in Testing, including writing unit tests, understanding test cases, and assisting in debugging and quality assurance.
- Ability to learn quickly, follow coding standards, and work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Interest in technologies such as AI, cloud computing, data analytics, or machine learning is beneficial.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
