About the Role

The AI Product Associate Analyst role sits within a broader technology organization supporting professional services. This team is evolving to own tools end-to-end, focusing on tool adoption, operational systems, and staying ahead of emerging industry tools and partners. The role acts as an internal standards and systems group for professional services, working across globally distributed teams and partners. The ideal candidate is interested in designing solutions for AI agents and helping employees use Salesforce's agentic products in innovative ways. Product Analysts play an important role in Agile teams by gathering requirements from end-users and communicating with engineers and AI Product Managers to deliver agent features.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze data, sit in on discovery sessions, and participate in meetings to gather business needs and requirements for AI-powered workflows.
  • Write functional specifications and User Stories for new agentic capabilities.
  • Write Acceptance Criteria for User Stories, defining trigger conditions, response formats, and escalation logic.
  • Document and communicate information engineers need to design agent solutions.
  • Keep pace with evolving business requirements and work with engineers and AI Product Managers on solutions.
  • Support UAT by drafting test scenarios, logging feedback and defects, and coordinating testing sessions.
  • Utilize Agile and Iterative methodologies within the Agentic Delivery Lifecycle (ADLC).
  • Coordinate and collaborate cross-functionally across professional services teams and with global vendors and system integrators.
  • Work with AI-native tools such as Agentforce, Cursor, Claude Code, and Slackbot.
  • Learn core product management fundamentals (product vision, product-market fit, total cost of ownership, press-release/FAQ docs, user stories).

Requirements & Tech Stack

  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • Receptive listening skills, willingness to ask questions to understand end-user needs.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow up diligently to get tasks completed.
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, and able to shift directions quickly.
  • Willingness to receive direction and guidance within a team environment.
  • Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross-functional teams.
  • Curiosity about AI/LLM fundamentals (RAG, prompt engineering) — no professional experience required.

Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of related experience.
  • Solid understanding of the Agentic Delivery Lifecycle (ADLC) is a plus.
  • Exposure to Salesforce platform, Data Cloud, or CRM concepts is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with AI prototyping tools (Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) is a plus.
  • Certifications in Python, Anthropic, OpenAI, Google AI, or product ownership are a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, management information systems, or finance preferred; computer science or other technical/related disciplines also welcome (recent or upcoming graduate).
