Key Responsibilities
- Source and triage inbound and outbound deal flow.
- Maintain and update the deal pipeline (CRM/tracker) as companies progress.
- Conduct first-pass screens on companies against SilverX's evaluation framework, assessing technical/IP defensibility, market timing, return potential, and founder quality.
- Build company explainers and sector primers covering company offerings, technology, competitive landscape, and market timing.
- Support market mapping and sector research to refine investment theses.
- Prepare briefing notes and screening summaries for investment committee discussions.
- Assist in refining internal deal-scoring frameworks and screening workflows.
Requirements & Tech Stack

- Comfort learning new tools quickly.
Qualifications
- Final-year student or recent graduate in engineering, sciences, or a related technical field.
- Strong technical/quantitative undergraduate background with an interest in finance, or vice versa.
- Genuine curiosity about deep tech and hard-tech sectors.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and self-directed work.
- Prior exposure to venture capital, consulting, equity research, or a deep tech startup is a plus, not a requirement.
