Key Responsibilities

• Support senior engineering staff in planning, executing, and monitoring construction activities on site.
• Assist with layout and measurements.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and contractors.
• Track daily progress.
• Ensure work adheres to drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Prepare basic reports.
• Maintain site documentation.
• Support material checks.
• Communicate issues or risks to the project engineer.
• Actively learn and apply engineering best practices.
• Contribute to smooth project delivery.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Foundational civil or structural engineering knowledge, including understanding of drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies.
• Basic skills in site supervision and coordination, including monitoring daily activities, liaising with contractors, and supporting compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Proficiency in common engineering tools and software, for example AutoCAD or similar drafting tools, MS Office for documentation, and basic measurement instruments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to identify and report technical issues on site.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, including the ability to work with diverse site teams and follow instructions from senior engineers.
• Willingness to work full time on construction sites in Bengaluru North and adapt to dynamic project requirements and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Civil Engineering (or a closely related discipline) from an accredited institution is preferred.
• Prior internship or project experience in construction will be an advantage.
