About the Role

This position is with the Prime Brokerage & Clearing Operations team within Global Banking & Markets. The role reports to a Team Manager and is supervised by a Vice President.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders including Business, Engineering, Operations, and Credit.
• Actively engaging, partnering, and driving changes to provide excellent service and support.
• Delivering transactions within agreed timeframes, as per SLAs, while improving processing quality, reducing errors, and fostering a zero-error culture.
• Processing payments, journals, and securities movements in accordance with Firm guidelines.
• Monitoring and resolving trade management exceptions by interacting with clients, brokers, and other Ops teams.
• Performing effective pre-matching & fails management tasks to ensure timely settlement of trades with counterparties.
• Investigating and resolving discrepancies in cash and securities positions within the firm’s books and records.
• Demonstrating effective client service by addressing client queries with sensitivity and urgency.
• Escalating critical and high-value breaks to senior management.
• Providing technical expertise related to the implementation of new processes, global consistency, risk management, efficiency, and technology convergence initiatives.
• Completing and overseeing daily checklists to ensure adherence to all controls, procedures, and processes for assigned functions.
• Acting as a change agent by solving problems at the root cause and identifying/implementing automation opportunities.
