About the Role
This is a remote internship role for an Unpaid Software Engineer Intern. The intern will collaborate with the engineering team to design, develop, and maintain back-end services and APIs that support AI-native products.
Key Responsibilities
- Writing clean and efficient code.
- Implementing object-oriented designs.
- Participating in code reviews.
- Assisting with debugging and performance optimization.
- Contributing to documentation.
- Supporting integration and testing activities.
- Learning best practices in software development workflows and tools.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Hands-on exposure to Software Development and Programming, preferably in languages commonly used for back-end services (e.g., Python, Java, or similar).
- Experience or coursework in Back-End Web Development, including working with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and ability to apply them in designing and implementing software components.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development practices.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with distributed team members.
- Interest in AI and emerging technologies, with willingness to learn new tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
