Expeditor

About the Role

The Expeditor is the link between the kitchen and the customer, ensuring orders are prepared timely, meet Nando's standards, and reach the correct customer. This role also involves preparing and packaging take-out orders and serving as the final point of contact for take-out customers. Expeditors must be organized, efficient, professional, polite, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure orders are prepared in a timely manner.
• Verify orders meet Nando’s standards.
• Ensure orders reach the correct customer.
• Prepare and package take-out orders.
• Provide the final interaction with take-out customers.
• Work with the team to exceed guests’ expectations.
• Provide guests with the Nando’s experience.

Physical Requirements

• Able to independently lift to 15lbs for an extended period.
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs with food items and dishes throughout the shift.
• Must be able to walk and/or stand for 8-10 hours per day.
• Hand-eye coordination.
• Reaching, bending, twisting, stooping.
• Pushing and Pulling.
• Lifting overhead.
• Ability to climb stairs in restaurants with multiple levels.

Compensation

• Competitive base wage plus average of $3-$4 in tips per hour.
• Washington, DC: $18.40 - 20.00 per hour
• Virginia: $13.00 - 18.00 per hour
• Maryland: $15.00 - 19.00 per hour
• Illinois: $15.00 - 19.00 per hour
• Georgia: $13.00 - 18.00 per hour
• Texas: $13.00 - 18.00 per hour
