About the Role
Aayush Bagzai Designs is a design-focused studio specializing in contemporary and functional interior solutions for residential and commercial spaces. Projects range from concept development to complete execution, giving team members exposure to the full design cycle. The studio values collaboration, design innovation, and meticulous project delivery, offering interiors professionals an opportunity to grow their creative and technical skills. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Thane.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on full-cycle design projects, including concept development, space planning, material and finishes selection, and detailing.
- Prepare design presentations.
- Create and review construction drawings.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors.
- Produce FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) specifications.
- Conduct regular site visits to oversee execution, ensure quality, and address design-related queries.
- Collaborate closely with the principal designer and project team to maintain design intent and project timelines.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar design and drafting software.
- Basic presentation tools such as PowerPoint, Illustrator, or InDesign.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to translate client requirements into functional, aesthetically coherent layouts.
- Knowledge of Architecture fundamentals and experience working with Construction Drawings for interior projects.
- Competence in FF&E selection, including furniture, fixtures, finishes, and accessories aligned with project budgets and design concepts.
- Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present concepts and coordinate effectively with clients, vendors, and site teams.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Prior internship or professional studio experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with local materials, market rates, and construction practices in and around Thane/Mumbai is an added advantage.
