About the Role

The Nurse role at ASSEDA - Associação Para Educação Ambiental is a full-time, on-site position based in Surat. The role involves providing direct patient care and contributing to the improvement of workflows within a task management system.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care.
• Monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications.
• Assist with procedures.
• Document clinical information accurately in the task management system.
• Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to patient needs.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans.
• Support infection control and safety protocols.
• Participate in shift handovers.
• Follow established clinical guidelines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of workflows within the TMS environment.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to use electronic systems or task management tools for documentation, scheduling, and coordination of patient care.

Qualifications

• Current nursing qualification (e.g., GNM, B.Sc. Nursing).
• Valid nursing registration/license as required by local regulations.
• Experience in providing direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and basic clinical procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of standard nursing protocols, infection control practices, and patient safety guidelines.
• Capacity to work in rotating shifts, manage multiple tasks, and remain calm in high-pressure clinical situations.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and respect for diverse backgrounds and individual needs.
• Prior experience in hospital or clinic settings in Surat or similar environments is an advantage.
